Aesop’s History

aesopThis figure above goes by the name of Aesop. He is the creator and founder of many fairy tales most commonly known as Aesop’s Fables. Aesop was a very intelligent man who lived a crazy life. He was born in Greece many of years ago thought to be around 620 B.C. Aesop started out his life as a slave and we also believe that he was unable to speak, but he was a very clever and an intelligent person. As time went on, the slave owners began to catch onto his wittiness and decided to release him from being a slave. From here he went on to aid major figures in the world solve problems using his wit. As he went about doing this, he occasionally told stories along the way. These stories have a long history to them. He would tell these stories to help promote positive morals of what is right and wrong into the people that heard them. You might notice that he never gives his characters any names. There is a reason for this. This is because back when he was a slave, he was not given an identity, in fact no slave was given an identity. He also tends to use animals in his stories and this is also die to his history of being a slave. These slaves were thought to have animalistic characteristics.
