The Boy Who Cried Wolf is a story out of Aesop’s Fables and originated in Greece. This fairytale portrays a very important moral lesson about lying using a boy, a wolf, and the boys fellow villagers. It starts out with the boy on the hill watching over the villages sheep. While he was up there he got bored and to amuse himself he screamed out “wolf!” This alert the villagers and they responded immediately to later find out there actually was no wolf. The boy did this yet again the next day resulting in the same outcome as the day before. No wolf and the villagers annoyed about this trickery. The day after that, he was again on the hill and saw a real wolf this time. He shouted and shouted for the villagers but they never came. The sheep ended up being killed and ultimately because of that the boy was taught a lesson on the consequences of lying.
